Rachel and Jacob - 15/04/2023
VENUE: Royal Botanical Gardens and Jardin Tan
PHOTOGRAPHER: Tamara Little Photography
"We are so glad we chose Laine to do the flowers for our wedding. I could not recommend Laine more. Laine is brilliant and a pleasure to work with. I gave her a few pictures and a half baked idea of what I wanted and she turned it into something beautiful and wonderful. We still get comments about how stunning the flowers were."

It was a rainy Melbourne day for Rachel and Jacob's wedding in the Royal Botanical Gardens but we think it has made for some of the most beautiful wedding images we have seen. Floral colour pops against the grey skies, umbrellas and laughs! R and J were married on 15 April 2023 in the gardens, with the reception held later at Jardin Tan.
Rachel gave me a brief of colour, and that gerberas must be included in a nod to her grandmother. We included mini gerberas, roses, hydrangea, dahlias and stocks in her bouquet, and carried these elements through the chuppah arrangements, aisle liners and dozens and dozens of bud vases for the reception tables.
The chuppah arrangements were repurposed onto stands to create a grand and colourful welcome area at Jardin Tan and we placed the aisle liners in key areas around the room. The long dining tables were liberally scattered with bud vases containing single and double stems of all the bright key flowers, and were accented by pillar candles to create ambience.
